POSITION SUMMARY:

Role Overview:
This position is for a Mechanical Engineer at the associate level, where you will support and execute comprehensive engineering tasks for Nuclear New Build projects. This role allows for a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing systems and components that fulfill client specifications.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to emerging challenges.
- Assess the overall performance, reliability, and safety of the final product.
- Modify designs to align with customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Senior Mechanical Engineer to estimate project budgets and scopes.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive product reports and documentation.
- Engage in the exploration and development of new theories or methodologies.
Essential Qualifications:
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable engineering degree.
- A minimum of 12 months of relevant experience is required.
- Proficient in CAD software.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong safety culture.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of materials science.
- Familiarity with piping systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset.
- Aptitude for analyzing extensive data and considering diverse perspectives.
