POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Senior Expert in Procurement and Supply Chain plays a pivotal role within the NTT DATA Digital Core Practice. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a broader team to design and implement SAP solutions tailored to our clients' needs. As a Senior Expert, you will engage in customer interactions and deliver Procurement and Supply Chain solutions, working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and the Integration Team to provide cutting-edge, high-quality solutions that integrate seamlessly with core S4/ECC and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Assist the Procurement and Supply Chain Solution Architect in closely collaborating with clients and NTT DATA sales and business development teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions that leverage Procurement and Supply Chain capabilities.
  • Provide strategic insights to NTT DATA and its clients, focusing on Supply Chain strategy, particularly in Procurement and Supply Chain solutions.
  • Serve as the design authority on projects, ensuring that the quality and integrity of implemented Procurement and Supply Chain solutions align with industry best practices.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and developments, ensuring NTT DATA remains a market leader. Share and communicate expert knowledge to enhance business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat and extended business related to NTT DATA's end-to-end service offerings, contributing valuable insights to support business growth.
  • Demonstrate strong delivery and configuration expertise across various Procurement and Supply Chain process flows.
  • Possess experience in delivering ECC WM and Basic EWM solutions.

PERSONAL PROFILE - SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to communicate, influence, and inspire effectively, establishing oneself as a trusted advisor in the Procurement and Supply Chain solution architecture domain.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering customer projects and providing solutions for complex Procurement and Supply Chain requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders, both within NTT DATA and externally.
  • Exhibit personal integrity and the ability to navigate unforeseen challenges while maintaining focus on business objectives.
  • Make informed decisions in complex environments.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge in a structured manner.

PERSONAL PROFILE – EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience of over 10 years in an SAP environment, with at least 6 years in Procurement and Supply Chain consulting. Experience with value-added resellers or software houses is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in solution design and architecture, with a successful track record across all phases of multiple full project lifecycles.
  • Cross-functional knowledge is desirable, with an understanding of core processes in other logistics modules.
