Apprentice - Level 3 in Engineering and Manufacturing
Job Description:Rotork is a global leader in flow control and instrumentation, helping customers manage the flow of liquids, gases, and powders across various industries worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Rotork on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract during a significant transformation project.
As a critical member of the production team, you will work on dynamic challenges and varied projects, making a tangible impact on the efficiency of Rotork's production.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, your role will focus on ensuring the continuous improvement of engineering tasks and processes during a period of developments and efficiency gains within the Leeds factory.
You will design, implement, and document shop floor processes, considering best engineering practice throughout.
Requirements:- Experience/awareness using any ERP system
- Awareness of techniques like Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Worked within an engineering production environment
- Mechanical Bias
- Relevant Degree or Apprentice Trained with experience
The successful candidate will be:
- Approachable and able to communicate effectively
- Happy to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised
- Organised with a keen eye for detail
