About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protection and Insurance Specialist to join our team at The Acorn Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising and arranging pure protection / life insurance products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a client base from Mortgage Scout / LRG-introduced clients.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues within Mortgage Scout and our estate agency partners to maximize lead generation.
  • Work closely with your dedicated administrator to ensure timely case progression and deliver the best customer outcome.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build strong relationships with customers.
  • A proven track record in achieving and exceeding targets and expectations.
  • A professional and flexible attitude, driven and passionate about mortgages & protection.
  • Subject to a DBS Check.
  • Experience of working in a high-productivity, customer-focused environment.
  • Expert knowledge of the mortgage and protection markets.
  • The ability to build relationships with the estate agency team and other departments.
  • Must have experience arranging multi-benefit protection, including but not limited to life assurance, critical illness cover (level/decreasing), family income benefit, income protection.
