We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our growing team. As a key member of our Technical Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product offering and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet client requirements and ensure scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and implementation teams to understand client needs and develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Own the documentation process to ensure engineers have the necessary information to implement and upgrade customer systems.
  • Act as a technical approver for significant changes and ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and be an advocate for reference architecture and best practices.
  • Work closely with the Planixs organization to ensure the right tools and resources are available to support our growth and success.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience with cloud-based platforms, including AWS, and a strong understanding of cloud architecture and engineering concepts.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills and experience with scripting, scheduling, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of configuration as code infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, including Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Helm.
  • Experience with messaging and integration technologies, such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, and Apache Kafka.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
