Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Equans in Wakefield. As a key member of our Electrical Testing & Inspection Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Electrical Works: Oversee the daily operations of our electrical testing and inspection contract, including supervising specialist sub-contractors and reporting anomalies to the Contract Supervisor/Site Management.
  • Electrical Testing and Inspection: Carry out scheduled electrical testing and inspection maintenance tasks, including emergency lighting, ECIR, illumination levels, infra-red, motors, PAT, static discharge, and lightning protection.
  • Asset Management: Work with the Site Manager to identify obsolete and end-of-life-cycle equipment for input into the forward maintenance plan and updating of the asset register.
Requirements:
  • Apprenticed Trained ECS Gold Card Electrician: Essential qualification for this role.
  • C&G 2391 or Equivalent Testing & Inspection: Essential qualification for this role.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification: Essential qualification for this role.
  • HNC/HND Electrical Qualification: Desirable qualification for this role.
  • ISOH/Safety Passport: Desirable qualification for this role.

  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 dependent on skills and experience.
