Lead M&E Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Lead Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our facility services team, you will play a crucial role in the supervision of M&E services across our commercial estates in the Aberdeen region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the development and implementation of long-term preventative maintenance programs and projects to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  2. Conduct regular site visits to inspect and verify the accuracy of work performed by engineering staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  3. Collaborate with our Facilities Manager to implement policies, procedures, and standards necessary to maintain the integrity of ongoing operational activities and provide exceptional service to our customers.
  4. Assist in maintaining accurate records, including test sheets, routine rounds inspection sheets, and work dockets, to ensure transparency and accountability in our maintenance activities.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
  6. Oversee the supervision of contractors and ensure that all M&E staff at your location follow established contractor control processes.
  7. Lead a team in responding to Helpdesk reactive maintenance/breakdown calls and carry out remedial work as necessary, providing feedback information to customers and the Helpdesk as required.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree up to Level 3, with a strong understanding of 18th edition electrical standards.
  2. Proven experience in maintenance operations across large-scale commercial estates, with a focus on site supervision and contractor management.
  3. Valid driving license and ability to travel to various sites as required.
