About the Role

Cerise Healthcare is seeking exceptional Support Workers to join our team in providing support to Adults with Learning Disabilities in Supported Living Services across Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist service users with personal care, including managing challenging behavior
  • Support with finances, medication, cooking, and household chores
  • Encourage independence and promote respect and dignity
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide person-centered care
Requirements
  • Recent UK-based experience in healthcare or social care
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to undertake one
  • Basic numeracy skills and good understanding of written and verbal English
  • Punctuality, reliability, and knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA)
