About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Bus Technician to join our team at First Bus. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, as well as maintaining and developing technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
- Maintain and develop technical skills as required
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure the highest standards of vehicle maintenance
- Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and Group Policies
Requirements:
- A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1&2)
- A flexible approach to working hours
- An aptitude to develop others within the Engineering Team
- A PCV licence is desirable or show a willingness to obtain PCV licence is essential
