About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our team at Streamline Search Ltd. As a Construction Planner, you will be responsible for managing the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring accurate tender submissions, and developing project programmes, logistics plans, and method statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Tender Coordination: Coordinate tender submissions, including preparing and submitting tender documents, and addressing any queries with clients and their advisers.
  • Contract Administration: Coordinate contract documentation issues with the Commercial Director and Legal Representative.
  • Method Statement Development: Develop method statements, logistics plans, programmes, and preliminary documents for projects.
  • Tender Support: Provide tender support by obtaining quotes for preliminary needs from the supply chain.
  • Client Relationship Building: Build strong client relationships to install confidence in the company.
  • Internal Meetings: Lead internal preliminaries meetings and present to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Participate in risk meetings, addressing pricing and programme risks.
  • Tender Clarifications: Contribute to tender clarifications, attend pre-settlement meetings, and external tender interviews.
  • Software Utilization: Utilise ASTA programming software for all planning tasks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Estimating Team to deliver a high-quality bid.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-construction and tender planning.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in ASTA programming software is essential.
  • Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the latest Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, as well as the QSE Management System.

  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 PA (DOE)
