Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Bournemouth Carlton Hotel, Signature Collection By Best Western. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our hotel rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Clean and Maintain Guest Rooms**: Ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • **Maintain Public Areas**: Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and common rooms, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  • **Operate Cleaning Equipment**: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions, to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
  • **Report Damages or Breakages**: Report any damages or breakages to management promptly to ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner.
  • **Maintain Storage Areas**: Keep storage areas clean and organized, including linen rooms and cupboards, to ensure that supplies are easily accessible and that the area remains clutter-free.
Requirements
  • **Previous Experience**: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • **Attention to Detail**: Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • **Physical Ability**: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
  • **Positive Attitude**: Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
