What will your role accomplish?

As the Production Team Leader, your goal will be to positively influence and achieve results through effective team management, fostering their growth, and leading by example. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing personnel, equipment, product quality, and process execution. You will be accountable for critical site metrics, team performance, and operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide and motivate team members to meet all role requirements and expectations. Lead, inspire, and coach all team members to enhance performance. Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to team members, identifying and implementing initiatives to maintain skill and competency levels. Ensure production targets are met while adhering to the labor plan. Oversee Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and efficiency metrics, including accuracy, waste management, downtime, and labor efficiency. Utilize and maintain relevant systems to generate comprehensive management reports. Facilitate effective communication between operational teams, management, and support staff across shifts. Ensure staff understand the significance of exceptional customer service and identify ways to enhance customer satisfaction. Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs and improve standards and efficiency. Adhere to Quality Management Systems and procedures in all areas of responsibility. Maintain hygiene audit standards consistently. Ensure all relevant documentation is completed accurately. Identify and resolve issues across all areas of responsibility, including personnel, production, and equipment.

Required Experience:

Demonstrated leadership abilities, exemplifying high standards of conduct, integrity, and honesty. Strong communication skills with a proven history of leading teams to enhance standards and efficiency. Management experience in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with Lean methodologies. A successful track record of empowering and motivating teams to achieve objectives. Commitment to developing and supporting team members through coaching and constructive feedback. A proactive approach to personal development and acquiring necessary skills for the role. Ability to adapt positively to change for oneself and others. A strong sense of accountability is essential.
