Staffline Driving is seeking HGV Class 1 transport operators for immediate opportunities. We offer flexible shifts with both daytime and nighttime options available. Depending on demand, there may be up to 5 shifts per week.

Compensation for the HGV Class 1 transport operator role is structured as follows:

  • Weekday Day Shifts: £14.20 per hour
  • Weekday Night Shifts: £15.19 per hour
  • Bank Holiday Day Shifts: £28.40 per hour
  • Bank Holiday Night Shifts: £30.38 per hour
Staffline Driving is pleased to provide consistent work on either day or night shifts, tailored to your availability.

Shifts commence between 5AM - 8AM for daytime work and from 5PM - 7:30PM for nighttime work.

Paid assessments are included.

Your Role
As an HGV Class 1 transport operator, your responsibilities will encompass depot delivery tasks. You will manage all aspects of trunking operations across various regions.

This position does not require heavy manual labor, as FLT will be utilized for loading and unloading; however, you will be tasked with securing the vehicle's cargo.

The work primarily involves trunking with curtain sider trailers, utilizing a modern fleet with 1 to 2 drops per day.

Ideal Candidate Profile
As a qualified LGV1 operator, you should ideally possess:
  • Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points
  • A valid Digi card and DCPC
