We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at MJ Quinn, a leading provider of Mechanical, Electrical, and Telecommunications services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, equipment, and related electro-mechanical systems. This will involve working with clients to identify and rectify faults, hazards, and system failures, as well as providing electrical maintenance reports and adhering to safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing and maintenance repairs of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with applicable Electrical Industry Codes.
  • Perform small to medium installation works within client buildings across the Merseyside area.
  • Identify and rectify faults, hazards, and system failures.
  • Routinely inspect electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Troubleshoot system failures and provide electrical maintenance reports.
  • Install new electrical appliances in client buildings.
  • Adhere to safety and performance standards, including NICEIC reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • 18th Edition qualification in Electrical Systems.
  • Experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Full driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and no bans within the last 12 months.
  • Availability for an on-call rota.
  • Previous experience in the relevant field, preferably in a commercial environment.
