We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on special purpose machinery, including ABB robots, pick and place robots, vacuum ovens, chemical plant machines, punch tools, presses, and bespoke machinery.
  • Conduct fault finding and repair work on electrical and mechanical systems, using skills such as PLC programming and electrical fault finding.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in maintenance engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve our processes and systems.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to level 2/3 (NVQ/C&G) with an electrical discipline.
  • At least 5 years' experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery.
  • Multi-skilled or electrically biased maintenance engineer.
  • PLC knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
