Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks on special purpose machinery, including ABB robots, pick and place robots, vacuum ovens, chemical plant machines, punch tools, presses, and bespoke machinery.
- Conduct fault finding and repair work on electrical and mechanical systems, using skills such as PLC programming and electrical fault finding.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in maintenance engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve our processes and systems.
- Qualified to level 2/3 (NVQ/C&G) with an electrical discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery.
- Multi-skilled or electrically biased maintenance engineer.
- PLC knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- No nights.
