About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic paediatric physiotherapist to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The successful candidate will have a special interest in paediatric physiotherapy and a strong background in working with children who have undergone cancer and stem cell therapy treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of paediatric patients undergoing immunological, stem cell therapy, cancer, and infectious diseases treatment.
  • Develop and implement effective physiotherapy treatments, including musculoskeletal, neurological, neurodevelopmental, respiratory, splinting, and provision of equipment and orthotics.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive discharge plans are in place.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • Health Professions Registration.
  • Considerable post-graduate experience in paediatric physiotherapy, including complex disability neurology, MSK, and respiratory.
  • Highly specialised knowledge of paediatric physiotherapy, including stem cell therapy, immunology, and cancer.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced and busy clinical environment.
