Job Title: Policy and Public Affairs Manager

The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the policy direction and engagement strategy for the charity. This role is ideally suited for those passionate about influencing policy change and enhancing stakeholder relationships.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Public Affairs Manager to join our team at Michael Page Policy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policy strategies, representing the organisation in policy discussions, and building relationships with key stakeholders across Westminster and Whitehall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy strategies to achieve organisational goals.
  • Represent the organisation in policy discussions, select committees, and APPGs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Westminster and Whitehall.
  • Monitor and respond to policy developments affecting the organisation and sector.
  • Prepare policy briefs and reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Provide policy advice and guidance to the team and senior management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in political science, law, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of policy development and advocacy from across the NFP sector.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence policy change and stakeholder engagement.
  • Outstanding research and analysis skills.
