Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at McCarthy Recruitment. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of store staff and driving sales growth in our Guildford store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of store staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
