Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

About the Role:

2M Legal is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our property law department, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of commercial property matters, including land acquisition, site assembly, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Land Acquisition & Disposals: Assist clients in securing and selling land, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Site Assembly: Coordinate the assembly of sites, ensuring that all necessary agreements and contracts are in place.
  • Options & Pre-emption Agreements: Draft and negotiate agreements that secure clients' interests in land.
  • Conditional Contracts & Promotional Agreements: Prepare and review contracts to ensure clients' rights are protected.
  • Planning: Guide clients through the planning process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Section 106, 278, and 38 Agreements: Negotiate and draft agreements that ensure clients' interests are protected.
  • Plot Sales: Manage plot sales from initial consultation to final agreement.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial property law
  • Strong knowledge of commercial property law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
