Location: Wymondham, Norfolk

Salary: £20,820.80, plus 27.5% shift allowance= £26,546.52

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our client's team in Wymondham, Norfolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

About the Role:

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and stacking empty pallets
  • Moving stocks and items of mail packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions, checking loads are secure
  • Performing daily equipment checks, recharging the truck's battery, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks by hand where necessary
  • Picking stock and moving it to the appropriate location on the factory floor and dealing with stock returns
  • Collecting full bins and moving them to the goods yard for disposal
  • Disposing of waste, including bailing shredded paper waste or compacting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous warehouse operative experience
  • Valid counterbalance license
  • IT literacy and competence in the use of MS Excel
  • Ability to lift and maneuver items, such as boxes, of up to 22KG
