Geomorphologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Geomorphologist to join our team at Offshore Wind Consultants Ltd. As a Geomorphologist, you will play a crucial role in providing geomorphological support and terrain analysis to our onshore and offshore energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct geomorphological analysis of terrestrial and subsea environments using various data sources.
  • Perform terrain attribute analysis to aid qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
  • Gather, process, and analyze terrain and environmental data in GIS, ensuring usability for other team members.
  • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary geoscience teams, assisting with geospatial data integration and analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports documenting geomorphological, terrain, and risk assessment workflows.
Requirements:
  • Degree in geography, geology, or geoscience, with strong GIS skills.
  • Project-focused with a solid understanding of the geoscience industry and ability to work independently.
  • Strong technical knowledge in geomorphology, geography, or geology, with excellent report writing and MS Office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, with a practical and resilient mindset.
  • MSc or PhD in geoscience, with proven project management skills.
