HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team in Hounslow. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to and from our MDL locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect goods to and from MDL locations
  • Comply with driver hours and road transport directive legislation
  • Provide feedback on loading, unloading, and delays
  • Drive safely and responsibly
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks
  • Use electronic P.O.D and up-to-date technology
  • Assist with loading and unloading
Requirements:
  • Full UK C+E licence
  • 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
  • Excellent driving skills
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • No previous disqualifications
  • 'Right To Work' in the UK
  • Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
