Senior Underwriting Operations Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Arthur to take on a key role in the underwriting operations team. As a Senior Underwriting Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial part in creating Syndicate Business Plans, managing Non-Financial Lloyd's and Regulatory returns, and collaborating with Senior Underwriters to enhance Underwriting MI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Planning: Coordinate the Syndicate Business Plan with Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, and Outwards Reinsurance teams to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Present and interpret business plan results to Senior Underwriters, Committees, and Lloyd's, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Return Submissions: Submit Syndicate Business Forecast (SBF) to Lloyd's, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Data Analysis: Produce Non-Financial Lloyd's and Regulatory returns, working closely with Data, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Underwriting MI Enhancement: Enhance Underwriting MI through PowerBI and external data sources like Lloyd's Insights Hub, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Underwriting Packs: Prepare Underwriting Packs for Committees, analyzing KPIs and performance metrics to inform underwriting strategies.

Candidates should possess a strong insurance background and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Experience with PowerBI and data-driven reporting is essential.
