Job Title: Electrical Engineer for Satellite Integration and Test

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the role of Electrical Engineer for Satellite Integration and Test. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the integration and testing of electrical systems on satellites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical system integration and functional testing activities for satellite programs
  • Perform data interpretation, assessment, and analysis of integrated electrical systems
  • Create technical documentation, including test procedures, test scripts, and test reports
  • Work package management as required
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformances and anomalies
  • Communicate risks, issues, and solutions to peers with various technical backgrounds and areas of expertise
  • Participate in daily AIT meetings, TRR, TRB, NRB, etc.
  • Support environmental tests, including thermal vacuum tests, vibration tests, acoustic tests, EMI/EMC tests, at satellite level
Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering with an electrical background
  • Experience in assembly, integration, and test
  • Knowledge of EGSE (Power, Data Handling, and/or RF)
  • Scripting skills, including test sequence coding in TCL, knowledge of Central Checkout System CCS5 or similar
  • Procedure writing
  • Ability to use laboratory test equipment, including power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of coding language (TCL)
  • Knowledge of S/C database management
Experience:
  • Experience in launch campaigns
  • Proven experience in satellite assembly, integration, and test environments
  • Experience in satellite avionics and protocols (RS4xx, MIL 1553, Spacewire)
  • Experience in flight hardware integration and testing
  • Procedure and test report writing
  • Non-conformance reporting
