Exceptional Opportunity for a Seasoned Solicitor

This is a unique chance for a highly experienced solicitor to join a leading national transport provider on an interim basis, working at the heart of their legal team. As Interim In-House Legal Counsel, you will provide critical legal support to ensure smooth business operations, advising on general commercial matters, managing contracts, and handling some litigation.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Providing legal advice across various commercial matters and supporting internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting with light dispute resolution and litigation matters as required.
  • Working closely with senior management and external advisors to drive key legal projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and offering pragmatic, business-driven solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years PQE as a Solicitor in the UK.
  • A strong background in general commercial law and commercial contracts.
  • Experience in handling litigation or dispute resolution would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a business environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
What We Offer
