We are working with a well-established, CREST-accredited consultancy that has recently secured a significant project with a leading Information Technology organization. They are seeking an Android Reverse Engineer to join their team.
The company supports thousands of clients across various sectors, including private and public/defense, and has been in operation for over two decades.
This role involves working in a team of six to analyze the security of Android devices, addressing complex questions that cannot be answered by lower malware analysis tiers. The environment will be fast-paced, and the project will be a long-term and challenging opportunity for professional growth.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience in reverse engineering
- Expertise in reverse engineering Android and Java-based applications
- Experience with various code types and languages is a plus
- Knowledge of the Android platform and its security mechanisms
- Vulnerability assessment and mobile penetration testing
- Knowledge of security-related topics, such as authentication, identity management, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, hashing, and software attack methodologies
