About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Wood Machinist to join our team at Precise Associates. As a CNC Wood Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.

Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision wood parts and instruments
* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
* Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
* Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
* Troubleshoot issues with machines and equipment

Requirements:

* 1 year of experience with CNC wood machining
* Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
* Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
* Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software
* Knowledge of tooling and cutting techniques
* Welding experience is a plus
* Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes
* Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
