Role Overview

As a Principal Engineer in Subsea Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of subsea engineering. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating essential information into subsea system field development and hardware, including subsea trees and manifolds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Oversee the incorporation of relevant data throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to installation and commissioning.
  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in client interactions, leading critical meetings and discussions on subsea development.
  • Technical Review: Evaluate and provide feedback on Subsea Controls, Instrumentation, and Equipment & Systems documentation across various project phases.
  • Feasibility Assessment: Assess operational modifications and tie-ins to existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with topsides, FPSO, and terminal operations.
  • Workshops and Reviews: Attend and contribute to project workshops, design reviews, and HAZOP sessions, ensuring constructability and installability requirements are met.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • A comprehensive understanding of subsea engineering principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the processes involved in developing subsea fields through various project phases.
