Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Adecco. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective manufacturing of component parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice engineering processes.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing works instructions and visual aids.
  • Interrogate customer drawings and CAD data to produce ply templates, foam kits, and other manufacturing aids.
  • Develop innovative manufacturing solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Anticipate and overcome manufacturing challenges to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Manage configuration control on projects and ensure compliance with customer and process requirements.
  • Design and develop mould tools, assembly fixtures, and manufacturing aids as required.
  • Assist with cost estimation on new projects and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Support and develop shop floor operatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of industry best practice of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD.
  • Lean Manufacturing techniques.
