Section Leader

We are seeking an experienced Section Leader to join our team at Network Rail. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and inspiring a team involved in inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal activities.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and inspire a team to achieve excellent results in inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal activities.
- Establish safety arrangements and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Check the quality of work and provide feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement maintenance and renewal plans to ensure the smooth operation of our network.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.
- Knowledge of discipline-specific maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques.
- Hold or be working towards an NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or have attained the appropriate level of knowledge gained through equivalent relevant experience.
- A valid driving license and a requirement to upgrade to a higher category license.
