About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Sonderwell. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration.
  • Support clients with challenging behaviour, using positive communication and de-escalation techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.
  • Ability to provide personal care and support, including medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
