Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Operators to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services.

This role involves multi-drop deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Working Hours: Early start times ranging from 05:00 to 08:00.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates between £16 and £19.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate heavy goods vehicles for deliveries.
  • Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are handled with care.
  • Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork for all deliveries.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience driving Class 1 or 2 vehicles.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence with C+E, along with a Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card.
  • No serious driving convictions (DD, DR, or IN) on your licence.
