Job Summary:

T.S.S. (Total Security Services) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at a Distribution Site in Corby. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the warehouse, including searching personnel as they leave.
  • Manage access and egress of vehicles entering via the Gatehouse.
  • Report any Health and Safety breaches found on site.
  • Use the CCTV system as required to maintain site security.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with safety guidance and legislation.

Operational Performance:

  • Meet company targets and KPIs for access/egress duties.
  • Adhere to company training and processes in the pursuit of duties.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, remaining courteous and professional at all times.
  • Undertake refresher and developmental training as required by duties.

Data Sensitivity:

  • Data handled as part of this role may be sensitive in nature and must be dealt with in line with company policy and GDPR regulations.

Requirements:

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office/Excel and bespoke systems (training for company systems will be provided).
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service orientated, demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to new requests outside of the core role.
