Job Title: Driver/Delivery Driver/Multi

We are seeking a skilled Driver/Delivery Driver/Multi to join our team in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering orders to customers on assigned routes, while also performing warehouse duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack and load products onto vans according to company specifications
  • Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
  • Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
  • Unload goods as per client specifications
  • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
  • Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:

  • Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
  • Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
  • Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
  • Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Special Requirements:

  • Driving a non-HGV delivery vehicle
  • Lifting/carrying/handling goods - maximum weight 25 kg
  • Flexible start times between 0600 and 0830
  • Over 23 due to insurance on vehicle
  • Held licence for 2 years minimum and UK licence
  • No more than 3 points
  • Preferable delivery experience
  • Approximately 20 drops a day (10 then return and 10)
  • Good level of English
  • Dealing with Scanners and checking stock is correct
