About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client's team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, working closely with the Accounts Manager and Partners, and providing excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Work closely with the Accounts Manager and Partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide excellent client service and support to a diverse client base
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and ad hoc project work
- Close liaison with the Tax team to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance
Requirements:
- Qualified by experience or ACA/ACCA qualified
- Up-to-date accounts preparation skills, including FRS102 and FRS105
- Experience in preparing year-end statutory accounts
- Strong technical skills, including Xero and other accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
