Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Civil Design Engineer to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our infrastructure projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in every technical discipline across the business, including detailed highway and drainage design, 3D site modeling, plot engineering, utilities strategy, flood risk assessment, foul and surface water drainage strategy, and transportation planning.
  • Undertake design for infrastructure projects, including 3D surface modeling and hydraulic drainage design.
  • Represent the company at client, contractor, and local authority meetings.
  • Design and approvals for S278 and S38 highway schemes with design capability when supervised by senior staff.
  • Work with Civils 3D, AutoCAD, and drainage modeling software such as FLOW or Microdrainage.

Requirements

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or currently working through the final year of the degree.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a bonus.
