Job Title: Weekend Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Cleaner to join our team at De Montfort University Leicester. As a Weekend Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our campus facilities.

About the Role:
  • Work as part of a small team on campus at the weekend
  • Perform general and reactive cleaning duties
  • Assist with ceremonies and corporate events
  • Ensure all buildings are ready for the university to commence business
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the campus, including offices, classrooms, and public spaces
  • Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Estates & Facilities team
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and machinery
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends
