Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home in Sleaford. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including washing, dressing, and eating
  • Assisting residents with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, and mobility
  • Encouraging residents to maintain their independence and autonomy
  • Completing daily charts and ensuring accurate records are kept
  • Participating in mandatory training and professional development
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A willingness to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
  • A good reason or experience that has drawn you to care
  • Live within 20 minutes of the Home
  • One year's experience of working in a residential or nursing home (preferred)
