TIG Welder Required for Leading Manufacturer

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our client's team in Jarrow. The successful candidate will work on high-precision liquid level gauges made from carbon steel and stainless steel, built to extremely high tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel materials.
  • Ensure all products meet the strict tolerances required for the oil and gas industry.
  • Read and work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Work alongside engineers and fabricators to achieve production targets.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must hold current or previously held coded TIG welding certification.
  • Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly with carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Ability to MIG weld is also essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
