About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement, providing emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per day, with a minimum of one day per week commitment.
  • Work in a therapeutic capacity, offering emotional support and guidance to children and young people.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
Requirements
  • Be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions.
  • Have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or a Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy.
  • Have relevant experience of direct work with children, or be willing to learn and develop your skills.
