Site Engineering Manager

This is a rare opportunity to work for a rapidly expanding business in a newly created role as a Site Engineering Manager. This position would be well suited to a multiskilled engineering leader who has experience of managing small teams, engineering budgets, capex projects, continuous improvement and PPM scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise and constantly improve equipment performance.
  • Ensure that the engineering planning process is managed robustly, ensuring high levels of compliance.
  • Contribute to identification and delivery of improvement projects.
  • Manage engineering budget and look for opportunities to create value.
  • Manage inventory levels through engineering team.

Requirements:
  • Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications / time served apprenticeship.
  • Experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality standards, housekeeping standards etc.
  • Experience of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and stock control systems.
