Part-Time Nursery and Junior School Support Staff
Are you enthusiastic about nurturing young minds and seeking a rewarding position in a lively educational setting?
We are looking for committed and adaptable Part-Time Nursery & Junior School Support Staff to become part of our team, providing coverage for absences, annual leave, and assistance during busy periods. This position primarily involves working during term-time, with occasional opportunities during school breaks to support our year-round nursery.
Collaborating closely with our dedicated team, you will share insights to ensure that each child's development is effectively monitored and supported. Strong communication with parents and guardians will foster robust relationships and a unified approach to each child's growth. You will engage children through diverse activities that promote their social and educational advancement, helping them build independence and self-assurance. Additionally, you will supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and extracurricular activities, as well as accompany children on educational outings.
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with both children and colleagues. Empathy and supportiveness are essential, along with active listening skills and a genuine interest in the well-being and development of children. Strong organizational abilities and flexibility in working within a team are crucial.
Experience in an educational environment is highly desirable, along with a proactive attitude towards engaging with various tasks and responsibilities. A solid educational background, particularly in English and Mathematics, as well as knowledge of safeguarding practices, are also important.
