We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead our Civil Engineering projects in Somerset, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality construction and civil engineering projects across the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within the projected budget.
- Provide financial and commercial advice to the project team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, and monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civil Engineering sector, with knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
