Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within the projected budget.
  • Provide financial and commercial advice to the project team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, and monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civil Engineering sector, with knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
