We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a leading accountancy recruitment agency, we specialize in finding top talent for tax, accounts, and auditor jobs in Walsall and across the UK.
Job Purpose- Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Oversee work-in-progress (WIP) and manage deadlines effectively.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for their learning and development.
- Nurture client relationships, building trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to drive company growth and success.
- Assist with target setting and department budgeting, identifying areas for improvement.
- Identify services that add value to client portfolios, promoting the department's expertise.
- Network confidently to promote the department, establishing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the audit team, championing the firm's values and culture.
- Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills, setting an example for the team.
