SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic SEND School in Richmond. The school provides a unique and supportive environment for students with complex needs, offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Music Therapy.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning, development, and personal growth. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritized and contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex needs in their learning and development
  • Contribute to creating a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Build close relationships with students to ensure they feel comfortable and secure
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to prioritize student progress
  • Work one-to-one with students to support their developmental milestones
