SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking Primary School in the Borough of Ealing.

About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties. You will work closely with experienced class teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver high-quality support and increase the quality of learning for both staff and pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEN in and out of the classroom
  • Work alongside a range of professionals, including SENCO and therapists
  • Attend weekly training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Support students across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 phases
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from a reputable University
  • An outgoing, forward-thinking, and creative personality
  • A willingness to learn and take on multiple roles
  • A strong understanding of SEN and previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
