Leader Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). This unit caters to children aged 5-16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools or require targeted interventions due to health needs.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant experience working with young people who may exhibit challenging behaviour. They will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting academic and personal growth, and collaborating with colleagues to develop targeted interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Key Stage 2 pupils
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the needs of individual pupils
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive school culture
- Contribute to the development and implementation of targeted interventions to support pupils with challenging behaviour
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attainment
