About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Arrow Services Sp.z.o.o. in Gdansk, Poland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accuracy of General Ledger for assigned Arrow companies.
- Complete month-end financial close procedures, including accruals and prepayments.
- Prepare internal reports for Europe and US head office.
- Facilitate restructuring accounting and control.
- Perform Sarbanes Oxley controls.
- Manage hedging and revaluation.
- Support headcount reporting, control, and forecasting.
- Conduct statutory accounting and corporation tax work.
- Reconcile statutory/corporate accounts and European consolidation.
- Control and prepare VAT, Intrastat, and Sales List Reporting.
- Support audit work.
- Manage the fixed asset register and liaise with accounts payable clerks.
- Prepare variance analysis for above tasks.
- Support other accountants on various tasks.
- Develop new processes and procedures within the accounting team.
- Provide support to the Accounting Manager on projects and ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in all-round accounting.
- Good knowledge of general accounting and reporting processes.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Experience with accruals, prepayments, VAT, balance sheet reconciliation.
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
- Results-driven and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
