Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Operations to join our national events team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the management and development of our operations team, ensuring they receive feedback on their performance and areas for improvement are identified and addressed.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the operations team, including the Head of Event Ops, Operations Manager, Operations Coordinator, and Event Day Managers
* Evaluate and monitor team performance, providing coaching and mentoring to improve skills and knowledge
* Develop and implement operational plans, including risk assessments, traffic management plans, and crowd management plans
* Manage company equipment, stock, vehicles, and uniforms across the UK
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Chapter 8 traffic signs manual, Green Guide, and Purple Guides

Requirements

* 5+ years' experience in line management, with a proven track record of effective coaching and mentoring
* Strong understanding of operational management principles and practices
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work outside of role to support business growth and success
* Must live within a daily commutable distance of Coventry Head Office
* Must hold UK Driving Licence, extensive UK travel essential
* SIA DS license desirable
