About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Officer to join our team at Star Academies. As a key member of our business support team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional business support service to our pupils, teachers, and wider stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the school's business operations, including managing budgets, coordinating events, and maintaining records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and community groups.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and plans, aligned with the school's vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure effective recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to pupils, teachers, and other stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English Grade C or above).
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting, preferably in an educational or business environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop well-thought-out solutions to complex problems.
